• Iron City Pipe and Supply was recently chosen to supply material for the Uranium Disposition Services DUF6 project. This is a federally funded project in Piketon, Ohio with carbon steel, stainless steel and monel material on it. Iron City was chosen due to close proximity to the location and expertise in the various materials required.

• Iron City Pipe and Supply has recently been granted certification by the State of Ohio as an EDGE certified supplier. This certification allows Iron City to fulfill contracting requirements mandated by the State of Ohio for both contractors working on State project and also State agencies direct. The certification is awarded to select companies that meet certain requirements.

• Iron City Pipe and Supply was also awarded certification by the Federal Government as a HubZone certified entity. This certification allows Iron City to fulfill contracting requirements mandated by the Federal Government, and is also recognized by many large companies throughout the United States as part of the Economic Development program.

• Iron City Pipe and Supply has been awarded a grant from the Ohio Economic Development Department for upgrading and installation of a fabrication facility within our shop. This grant will allow us to upgrade equipment and purchase machinery to provide further fabrication capabilities to our customers. As part of this grant, Iron City Pipe plans to provide additional employment to the local community for work in the fabrication facility. The fabrication shop can cut, groove and thread pipe, as well as provide specific modifications to piping, including exterior coating, welding and specialty hanger assemblies.
